Travelling - like you're reading a good book

Everyone has travelled somewhere. If not abroad, at least to school. Now I'm talking about travelling to other countries. Someone might think that travelling is very stressing and hard to organize, but then what? If you want something, then do something or it.

I think travelling is broadening and very nice way to relax. When you go abroad, you see different kinds of people and cultures and you always learn something new. Have to mention that at least abroad you have a chance to challenge yourself and speak foreign languages!
I have travelled for example to Italy, Rodos and Austria. In every trip I have learned something: in Italy I learned it's language and culture (I think they all eat some sweets all the time, even for breakfast!), got friends and saw how different can school system be! In Rodos I learned at least to safe myself from UV-radiation! In Austria I spoke german and learnt some new words, noticed that people abroad really think that here in finland we only drink alcohol and how to travel by different kinds of vehicles. Don't you think travelling is interesting? ;)
If you're planning to travel somewhere, remember that anything can happen! So, be careful. I'm planning a trip but not sure when carry it out. Hopefully soon..
I love travelling and I prefer it than sitting at home.

The world is a book and those who do not travel  read only one page.

Healthy to be celebrity?

Isn’t it cute when 13-year old Justin Bieber sings in youtube-video with his high voice? Or when Macaylay Culkin fights against burglars?
But what happens when they grow up? Macaylay Culkin is nowadays junky which makes me really sad. He was so cute and innocent. And now there is drug-rumors about Bieber too.
So what happens? Kids should be kids, they can’t handle the fame, there is too much proofs about it. For example Lindsay Lohan. Her career looked pretty nice but nowadays young actress is in prison every two week. Britney Spears goes to the same category. She has performed in TV since she was only baby. Then she worked for Disney and then made career as a singer. And was in the rehab.
It’s horrible to watch how being celebrity influences to young people. (Or why not in old ones too..) In my opinion kids should be kids as long as possible. Then they can maybe grow to responsible adults. There can be kid actors but it is important that their parents keep their feet on the ground. Clearly it hasn't work every time.
Being celebrity must be hard, all those interviews and tours and filming schedules. Some manage with them pretty good but some don't and those stories are usually pretty sad.  We all know Michael Jackson and his story. Then there is Leonardo DiCaprio too. Both of them came to publicity in young age and both went to corruption. In my opinion, they have been so much  in publicity that they can’t bear it anymore. Being celebrity has changed past these 20-30 years. Before you had to make a career but now because of globalization you just have to make good video (it doesn’t have to be even good) in youtube and get many subscribers and get record company interested about you and voilĂ , you’re in the top!
Don’t get me wrong, I still appreciate kid stars but I don’t want to support them. And of course there is drug-problems even though you haven’t been fame in young age. And not every young celebrity have gone corruption. There's still hopes like: Emma Watson, Freddie Higmore and High school musical -stars who haven't gone in the bad-side.
Hopefully our Robin won’t get in it either!

We are all the same..

Most people like movies. Most people have watched all Harry Potter- movies and that's it. No more big feelings about them. But then there's also people who know everything about those movies and hunger more and more. Some people call them nerds.

Let's start with term "nerd". Tehre are many types of nerds. Some are genius with computers and everything which comes to appliances. But now I'm talking about nerds who go crazy from something which is not exist.  In plain language: fantasy- game- sci-fi and comic -people.

The line between fan and nerd is very wavering. You can be a fan without being a nerd. What makes between them then? Well, let's put it in this way: If your room is filled by different game-, fantasy or sci-fi  -spin-offs and walls are plastered with wallpapers and whe you hear the word "doctor" you simply think the bluebox, you ARE a nerd. (or at least very close)

And that's fine. I don't have anything against fans or nerds, I actually like them. But waht I can't stand is persons who think they know everything about the topic and no one is as good as they are. (Were they better or not). Main thought is that nerds are weirdos. That's not true. Nowadays nerds are "infiltrated"  to among normal people. You can't always recognize whose nerd and who isn't. I know some nerds and I can tell you: they can talk about other things too. Even though they are crazy when it comes to their favourite subject.

So, what I'm trying to say is that when you see the person wearing tie of Gryffindor or other crazy-looking stuff, don't judge them. Because if you throw your prejudices away and get to know them, they can come the most precious friend to you.

"No one should judge anyone by apperiance."

Clean water to developing countries

Have you ever think, how developing countries could get more clean water? The United States of America may have got the answer to that question.  They made a research where only a little nanoparticles and the light of the sun could distill contaminated water.

Method could be great, especially for developing countries. And it could cost only like 100 euros. That would solve many many problems! Im absolutely on side of that kind of researching and methods, where researcers uses organic sources of natural.

So let´s hope, that in few years developing countries will get more clean water, and they can suffer less!

Dancing - a way of life

Dancing is fun. Dancing is nice. Dancing is relaxing. Dancing is easy. Dancing is like breathing.
I have been dancing three years. My hobby is streetdance. I have practice two times in a week. My crew is the best and we are very close. I am not the best dancer ever, but dancing with my friends - it helps to forget all stupid things.
I think that a great way to dance is just let the music move you and think nothing. It is very fun and if you are at home alone, you can jump, dance and sing like crazy :DDD.
I have good feeling when I am dancing. When I feel good, I have energy to think sad things. I mean like littering, dying animals, global warming... So when my mind is strong I can try to do something for sad things because I don't feel like sad things are killing me. Dancing is mental resource for me. There isn't one right way to dance. Everybody  can dance just like they want. I think that when you feel good, you are dancing right way.

One life - dance it.

A beautiful world

Imagine a coral reef with many colours. The reef is full of colourful fishes. Fishes are looking for food. A seaturtle pass you from the right side. Water is clear and blue.
Climate change is going worse and worse. Carbon dioxide emissions are quite bigs and they will destroy planet's nature.
Humans are the biggest reason to destruction of planet's nature. Animals are dying, plants are dissapearing.
Millions of organisms are living in rainforests. Rainforests produce oxygen and they are lungs of the world. Rainforests and oceans are huge carbon sinks. People are destroying rainforests because they need space for houses and they sell trees to foreingn countries. Gorillas and big animals are threatened specieses. Luckily we have many organizations which do lot of work to save those animals.
People don't have the right to destroy planet's nature. Think about this: humans are threatened species and we are dying. Animals are laughing for us and killing people. Would
you want some help? Who would have helping organization? Gorillas?
We don't own planet's nature so we don't have the right to destroy it. Think clearly and help the nature.
Our world is stronger when we have rich nature and lot of animals.

One planet - help it.

Tobacco and snuff are for sissies

Tobacco and snuff are for sissies

Has somebody told you that you are sissy if you don't smoke tobacco or use snuff ? And 'cause of this you started smoking or snuffing? Or did you want the approval in the group of friends?

Altought you know tobacco smoke
incluedes almost 4,000 chemicals, of which nearly 50 are carcinogenic.
 Tobacco consumes skin, teeth, system,
sense of smell, sense of taste and lungs. You have to spit more and more. You will become a tobacco-dependent and you will shake and sweat if you don't get tobacco or snuff immediately. You are a nicotine-dependent.The same thing applies to snuff.

Have you ever thought how much you have wasted money for tobacco or snuff? According to Finnish research nicotine-dependent spend money almost 5 000 euros every year. That could buy a using car or pay insurances.
Money will always burn when you lit the tobacco and your healt is going to bad.

Remember: Smoking damages others than a smoker self.

Snuff  contains more than 2,500 chemicals, of which nearly 30 are carcinogenic. It destroies teeth, gums and the appearance of teeth.
These people who don't smoke or snuff say to nicotine-dependents: "what a sissy!".

the amount of physical education has created many problems

I am a little bit concerned about the decreased amount of physical education lessons at schools. During time the amount of these classes have been significantly reduced. For example finland is almost a top land in the amount of physical education for 11-years old kids, but when they move to the next institution the number of their sport lessons drops dramatically.

This has alredy created many problems. For example our young population have becomed fatter than they have ever been. This fatness is a spike on their skin. It creates insecurity in their minds and that way creates a social problems between their everyday intercommunication. And when they alredy are in a bad shape they might have a weak self-belief and they guaranteely won't find a hobby like football which could help them out. It also causes a health-problems at the younger ages than usually and creates a mental image that the government doesn't think the best for their nation by ignoring this huge problem.

If there is something bad, there is always something good. In this case the number of physical education lessons will be increased by the new syllabus which will take action in the 2016. There they decreased the
amount of religion lessons and increased the amount of sport lessons with two extra lessons. This is definitely a good direction for the future childrens but the problem still remains and probably will remain for a long time.

No more littering, please

Has it ever crossed your mind that when you throw something to the ground, that that something may end up in an animal’s mouth?

When we throw trash to the ground it can move surprisingly far from the spot where it was left. Wind, water, and other natural forces move the litter and eventually it might end up in an ocean, for example. Right now, there is a huge amount of plastic and trash floating in the Pacific Ocean. Ocean currents have gathered the debris and created a floating of it. This floating is called the Great Pacific garbage path, and it has also been referred to as world’s largest refuse dump.

Plastic debris is problematic because it just breaks into smaller and smaller pieces along time. This causes trouble for turtles and water birds, for example, because they may even eat these little pieces of plastic when trying to find food. Plastic, broken into tiny, little pieces, accumulates in animals that filter their food from water, causing them diverse problems. In the worst case, a water bird’s stomach can be full of plastic debris.

This debris problem reminds me of the time when we were babies; we didn’t know what was edible and what wasn’t, and our parents would always try to make sure there were no little things on the floor that we could have put in our mouths and choked. The situation with animals is quite the same. Now we are the parents that are supposed to keep the floor clear of all those dangerous little things that the babies could try to eat; let’s stop littering and protect the nature and animals. So, next time when you’re about to throw something to the ground, stop for a moment, and think. Is it really worth harming the nature and animals, or could you be responsible, and find a trashcan? I know what I’d do.

cycling is a better way to move around than a car

In my opinion people should travel small distances by bike because it has several advatages compared to driving a car. Cycling doesn't pollute air and because of that it is much more nature-friendly way to travel than a car. in the morning cycling to the work will wake you up better than driving a car. Driving a bike is also a cheaper than driving a car. On top of that it gives you a little bit of workout which is always good for your health and it makes you feel happier. In the cities where traffic moves slowly it is probably the fastest way to move around.

The disadvantages are that on the traffic you are in a weaker position than a driver and that's why there is a lot of cycling accidents out there. You also need to take care of your bike and it requires a lot of time and some money, but same goes for a car. It also decreases the bloodflow in the certain areas, which can be a problem sometimes.

Adopt a honey badger

Since I already talked about adopting highways, I thought, why not continue with the adoption talk – just with a little different object. This time it's not highways, but honey badgers that need help.

Honey badgers are members of the weasel family, and they are related to skunks, otters, and ferrets. They are curious, wide-ranging nomadic animals that rarely show fear. Honey badgers have thick, tough skin loose enough to allow for escape from predators, and a scent gland at the base of the tail that expels a smelly liquid they use to mark territory or to warn others to stay away. They are fast, and utilize this asset when ambushing much larger prey and even attacking poisonous snakes, relying on their thick skin to protect themselves.

Honey badgers cause a threat to beekeeping productivity by doing beehive damage, particularly around protected areas. Farmers have been persecuting them since the early 1800’s, and this problem has escalated since 1990. Most problems occur in the Western Cape. 83 percent of honey badgers killed in the Western Cape were killed by beekeepers that hadn't made an effort to protect their hives. In some areas surrounding beekeepers, farmers have been encouraged to kill honey badgers to support beekeepers.

Anyone can protect honey badgers and their habitats, and support WWF’s global efforts by adopting a honey badger. WWF offers three different honey badger adoption kits: a $25, $50, or a $100 kit. The kits include gift bags, photos of honey badgers, gift boxes, soft toys and adoption certificates.

They may be tough, but they need help...
