Dancing - a way of life

Dancing is fun. Dancing is nice. Dancing is relaxing. Dancing is easy. Dancing is like breathing.
I have been dancing three years. My hobby is streetdance. I have practice two times in a week. My crew is the best and we are very close. I am not the best dancer ever, but dancing with my friends - it helps to forget all stupid things.
I think that a great way to dance is just let the music move you and think nothing. It is very fun and if you are at home alone, you can jump, dance and sing like crazy :DDD.
I have good feeling when I am dancing. When I feel good, I have energy to think sad things. I mean like littering, dying animals, global warming... So when my mind is strong I can try to do something for sad things because I don't feel like sad things are killing me. Dancing is mental resource for me. There isn't one right way to dance. Everybody  can dance just like they want. I think that when you feel good, you are dancing right way.

One life - dance it.

  1. I love, when someone is so passionated for a hobby that it becomes a source of energy or way of life. I think that everyone gets energy and a good feeling from their hobby or somewhere else.

I get a great feeling when I go running. That is my way to just discharge my bad day or just go and be a little while alone. When I come back from running, I feel great and I´m proud of myself, just getting myself out and doing something good.

I actually don´t know, what is my point of this comment, just that do what you love and live like it´s your last day.

  2. A good text. I think that dancing touches nearly all the people in the world. Almost everyone dances at some point of their lives. We have all kinds of events, like proms and weddings. But for more casual dancing people hit the clubs or have parties. Those are great events to just loose it. There should be no excuses like "oh no, I can't dance, I don't know the moves..." Everybody can let the music make them move.

As a sport I admire dancing. Dancers are very athletic and their physiques are great. When performing they show their skills and make art. It's beautiful.

I also adore people who are passionate for their sports. I'm a cheerleader myself and I dedicate my life to it. It involves dancing actually too, but it's just a small part. But just like dancing, it's all about performing. When you hear that music, you just let it make you a whole other person.

  3. I love to hear stories about people hobbies, especially when they are really into it. I can see that dancing is more than just hobby for you; a way of life. The part in the text when you say that "Dancing is like breathing" was really touching. In that part could really see that you love it. I appreciate that you can give big part of your life to dancing.

It's really awesome that dancing also affects to your mind and you can think that important things because of dancing.

  4. I so agree with you Mira! I was thinking about writing here about the same topic but let's put it in comment. :)
So, like you said dancing isn't just a sport or a hobby - sometimes it becomes a way of life. It makes you feel good and relaxed so let's dance!
Dance has been my hobby for 9 years. First it was just a one ballet lesson in a week, but after some years I started to study also jazzdance and moderndance. Suddenly I had seven lesson in a week. That may sounds crazy, but don't worry, I'm alive. In these days I have also seven dance practices - which includes showdance, streetjazz, ballet and jazzdance - in a week. If I had more leisure, I would also like to test wacking and street dance (maybe in your group Mira:)). Even I feel sometimes tired about all that travelling to Jyväskylä and back, I couldn't even think about quitting dancing.
So why do I dance? Most of the reasons are written in Mira's text. For me, dancing is also a way to express feelings, relax, see my friends and have fun with them etc. I also love performing! Dancing is just a piece of me and hopefully that will not change.
I’m not sure if the next year is my last dance year in Jyväskylä, so I will enjoy about it so much that I can! Maybe I'll choose 15 dance practises in a week and dance all my spare time like my friends already do. Haha maybe not because of the graduation, but if you didn't got it, all I wanted to say is, dance. I recommend dancing to everyone. Everyone has their own style and everyone can dance.

  5. In my opinion it is good that everybody has a hobby where you can relax and forget everything.
I think it is important to not take it too seriously so it doesn't become something you have to do but you just enjoy it. Just like you do.

And like you said, it doesn't matter how good you are but how much you love doing it.
